Joe Ambrose, Practice Director of VALCORT Strategic Services, has over 18 years of experience and is a recognized thought-leader in the areas of organizational performance, strategic change management, and sales and marketing development. Ambrose has been a significant contributor to many VALCORT project teams for nearly 10 years, having shaped the VALCORT internal transformation and change management practice.
He is a noted expert in integrating change and performance strategies for new product development, sales channel development, and merger/acquisition initiatives. He has led numerous large-scale organizational change initiatives, including managing the implementation of a $30 million system within a Fortune 100 company. His experience includes business process consulting, change management strategy, strategic communication, leadership development/coaching, operational due diligence, merger/acquisition, and training and performance strategies. Ambrose is in demand having consulted with top industry leaders, including McDonald's, Ford Motor Company, AT&T, Ameritech, W.W. Grainger, SBC, HSBC, Accenture, Motorola, and numerous small to mid-sized successful niche businesses.
With an unusual ability to create simple, easy to implement performance strategies, nurture emerging leaders and build scalable organizations, Ambrose rose rapidly through the ranks of Ameritech/SBC over 11 years, including a major tenure as Director of Human Capital, managing 18 offices, 38 managers, and a $10 million budget across three states. Most recently, Ambrose led Pinpoint Resources, a strategic change and sales development consulting firm he founded in 1998.
Ambrose is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, and is the former three-term chairperson for CODIC (Chicago Organizational Development Institute Chapter). He is a volunteer with Junior Achievement, and has taught numerous entrepreneur courses at Waubonsee College.
Ambrose holds a masters degree in management/organizational behavior from Benedictine University, a masters degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University (2009), and a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Elmhurst College. Ambrose is also certified as a RODP (Registered Organizational Development Professional).
